Design Chosen

Early in the week it was hard to get a clear direction of where to go. Monday was spent analyzing each of the design team's designs and choosing which aspects that regardless of what the client chose, we could carry over to the next. Last week I had already made the first mock up, which ended up being chosen after Wednesday. So this week I had not made another design on my own.
However throughout the week there was communication with the front end and back end coders on what would be needed of us specifically. Front end, now that the design has been chosen, is working on skeleton code, and I will be creating graphics as needed in the future.
This week was a little slow and up in the air due to waiting on the client. However, class time was spent searching for photos through flickr, as well as a few other stock photo sites and creative commons licensed images.
Today, I also went through the images the client gave us, and picked about 30 that I thought would work best on the site due to quality and other factors. I have given these images to the rest of the group and asked them to select their top 10, which should give enough crossover to select the images we will use on the site initially.
Next week the key is getting the website set up as much as possible before break. We will discuss what to do next with the front end coders, and then move on to creating the graphics for the portal website.
