Alex Lewis Week 15 Work Blog

NEWMAN — Fri, 12/05/2008 - 10:49

This week was another slow week for the documents and testing group. Monday was there was not much to do since none of the front-end code had been started. This put all of the groups at a stand still. However, the group was able to collaborate on how we could format the change document and conduct the testing. Monday proved to be the slowest day of the week and this was all that was accomplished.

Wednesday was not much better, but we did get to look at a somewhat working website. The back-end did a quick walkthrough and we were able to determine how we could do the change document. We ended Wednesday with the idea that we would have final revisions to the design plan done by Monday.

Thursday I accessed the server where all of the code is placed right now and took a look at how the website is being created. This gave me a better understanding on how the code part of the change document could be done. Screen captures, highlighting, and text inserts could easily show how the CFRC could make changes to the website.

Finally, on Friday we discussed again how the testing would be conducted and how soon we would be able to get results from the surveys that we created. On Monday we should hopefully have enough of the site to conduct our testing and construct the change document.
