Alex Lewis Week 16

NEWMAN — Fri, 12/12/2008 - 11:43

This week proved to be crunch time for the documents and testing team. While the deadline for a working website was Monday it still was not ready for testing then. As a result we ended up waiting until Wednesday to be able to send out our testing forms. On Monday then the group discussed how we would go about constructing the change document. This was done by creating a simple outline of the document and pulling some screen captures from the website. I worked on the project again on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday morning I sent out my forms to the testing audience. While I did not expect to get any results I was pleased to see that some of the participants still responded. Also, on Wednesday Neely typed the descriptions for the change document while Scott and myself took screen shots of the website and then edited them in Photoshop to highlight the area that was being discussed in the change document. On Thursday I went back and did any final adjustments to my portion of the design plan. Since, we had done this already two or three times there were not many adjustments to be made. Lastly, on Friday the few results that I received were on Google Docs. I then compiled and printed out all of the results for each audience to be placed in our final report. This last week has proved to be very rushed but with my work and the work of my group members we have accomplished everything required and contributed greatly to the project.
