For the workshop, you will give me a printed copy of your draft with your name on it. Then you will print a copy of your draft without your name to trade with classmates. When we get a anonymous classmate's draft, we will answer these questions about it:

  1. What is the proposed podcast's audience and context, and what evidence does the design plan present to support its analyses of these aspects?
  2. What is the proposed podcast's purpose?
  3. How does the proposed podcast use its medium, strategies, and arrangement to target relevant features of the audience and context established in the plan?
  4. How does the proposed podcast use its medium, strategies, and arrangement to accomplish the purpose established in the plan?

After we take some time to answer these questions, we will present our findings to the rest of the class. We'll then each take a question or two about the design plan draft, and answer it as best as we can. The purpose in doing this is for us to discover what parts of our various design plans are communicating clearly, and what parts would benefit from revision.
