Summary:The Publics Project asks students to produce three packaging documents for material that is in the American public domain or licensed for modification and reproduction. The documents are:
Students will produce two distinct drafts of each document corresponding to separate aesthetic schools covered in class. Drafts will be screened during class workshops to help students determine which design aesthetic to pursue. In producing these works, students will take care not to violate intellectual property laws (which will be covered in class). Final documents will be delivered as press-quality .pdf files. They will be submitted using DROPitTOme. Before submitting, students should name the documents using this structure:
