Work Blog #4, Week 8

This week my group and I worked very diligently for the completion of our project. We took into consideration all of the comments made from both Weber's Group #3 and from the CFRC. My group members and I proceeded with the final draft in an assembly format. Marius initiated making the revisions for the final draft on Sunday and the outcome was very pleasant. The next piece of advice from both the CFRC and Weber's Group #3 was to add a background and more visuals. I added another visual and found a complementary background that looked very nice. When trying to send the the brochure to other group members, I encountered a difficulty because the brochure exceeded the email size. Then I attempted to convert the document to jpeg and pdf format when the background would not show up. With many attempts of sending my group members the brochure, Melissa Wood made the executive decision for the group to leave the brochure with a white background. Our brochure still maintains all of the visuals, however, the background still remains white. We still think our brochure looks very nice and professional. The CFRC does, however, have the option of printing the brochure out on color paper if need be. I think using the white background is for the best because color might have taken away from the images, clipart, and information. A background might have been too much for the brochure. Although, there were some frustrations with communication between members and technology complications, my group and I worked very well together and managed to get the work done in a timely fashion.
