The beginning of this week my group was very busy throwing ideas back and forth for the final draft. We look back over all the comments we received since the first draft and then looked over our project to see which changes made the most sense and any other changes we thought would make the brochure better. I suggested everyone take a close look at the comments given to us from the CFRC. I also told everyone to make a list of changes they felt should be implemented so we could review our lists before making changes to the draft. After discussing a few ideas we started incorporating the changes and sending the revised brochure back and forth. Taking a look visually to see what we liked and what we did not like. I was having some trouble fixing the grammar on one part of our brochure, but Keeli found a way to change it and make it sound more appropriate. I fixed the spacing on our volunteer form so that there was room to write in everything. I also made the colors in the brochure a darker shade of green and red since we received a lot of feedback saying it was too bright and was taking away from the text. I also changed one of our pictures because I felt two of the pictures close to each other were basically the same thing, thus causing redundancy. I also noticed a problem with our borders in one of the sections were we had a lot of text boxes. To fix this I changed the text boxes to a table and then added colors that fit the theme better than the gray we had there before.
