Ah! The course has finally come to an end. I think that the most significant part of the project was taken care of in the sixth week when we had to develop the first draft of the brochure. I think that it had been much lighter in the following weeks as there was just some editing that was needed on the brochures. In the end of the seventh week we had got some great advices from the instructor, peers and the Humane Society itself. By Monday Alex has mailed me another draft of the brochure which contained most of the changes that the above mentioned sources had advised. I saw the revised brochure and thought that it still needed some changes. There had been paws on the 'about us' section of the brochure which according to me didn't look nice and blended at all due to their white background. I also aligned the about us text to match with other pages. I think that this was the reason that the Humane Society had called it funky. I also tried to put the grey boxes on each page to have it look homogenous but couldn’t do it as I am not too familiar with the software MS publisher. I had asked Alex to do the same, but he replied that it didn’t look good. Anyways I guess that now the group work is over.
