Week 8, the last week, was another good week for group 1. Over the weekend I sent out an email to the group members to recap what we still needed to get done. According to our Gantt chart, we were supposed to have our final revisions in by Tuesday, and our Work Blog and Analysis in by Friday. My group members sent me input in on time so I could start making final revisions on our brochure.
On Wednesday, I put the final touches on our projects. First, I took the revisions of our text from my group members. Some of the revisions were from the client feedback, and others where group members revisions. Next, I reviewed the client feedback and used it as a checklist to revise our project. I was able to accommodate to most of the feedback, but due to the program I was using, it would output the composition in a few undesirable ways (i.e. pixelating some of the pictures). Next, I worked on the visual design of our project again. I added a little more color to the pictures, changed the background to a pastel green, and I changed the red title font color to match the color of the CFRC title color. Last, I wanted to make sure we did not have any spelling or grammar errors. I sat down with a friend and read all of the text in our composition (including the volunteer form and addresses). I found several typing mistakes that I had scanned over several times.
Overall, I think our group did a great job on this project and we all did a good job keeping up with our assigned work.
