3. Yes, RT chemicals which I have listed in 1 is an internship. It’s been a month since I have joined this firm but I have learned allot, I carry out reactions which help in making of paracetamols, which is a common drug used in pain killers these days. This interestingly has made me teach a lot of lab techniques and given me an exposure towards high technological equipment.
Educational Experience:
4. Most of my skills come from the lab work that have been doing in my science courses. The lab work teaches me how to work in groups, use different equipments and help me manage time. I have learnt leadership skills from my extra curriculars such as soccer, hand ball and basket ball.
5. During High school I have won academic excellence awards in the 10th and the 12th grade, since these two grade exams are held nationally. I have also won awards for sports mainly in soccer and handball. I was the sports captain of my high school and I receieved the best leadership award that year. This was because of my school winning many national events.
Skills:
6. I think the skill of my listening to other people’s ideas makes me rise above the ordinary. This works well in a job, where we cannot always assume we are right. I also play a lot of soccer and hand ball. I have led my hand ball team internationally to Sweden and won an award. My leadershiop skills will help me in my future jobs and help me in getting higher positions. Being a leader doesn’t only mean that we give instructions. To overall manage a team or a group is a task in itself. I can proudly say I have good marketing techniques. Even when it comes when to arranging a party for the Indian students organisation, I come up with good strategies. Along side marketing techniques is problem solving skills, which by now every student develops.. My skills in terms of skill work and leadership quality will help me through a variety of jobs within the field of bio chemistry. It makes me capable of working in a lab as well as being a manager of a particular research firm.
7. I have worked in groups in classes like chemistry and biology in the labs. Hence I can say I am very efficient in working with other people. I manage to divide the work equally among the group hence everyone contributes equally. I am alos open to ideas and suggestions from other members and I learn myslef in the process.I have also learnt from other volunteers at the organisation. There is a difference in everyone’s teaching and I learn a new thing everyday. I appreciate their talent to teach and help them out when I feel they are wrong. Being from India, I know 4 Indian languages. I have also studied french in high school and hence know how to communicate in french besides english.
