2. I have not done any volunteer work at this point in time.
3. This summer, I am doing my retail internship with Finlay Fine Jewelry in Merrillville, IN. I am closely shadowing my manager and helping her with her everyday tasks which includes much more than just selling jewelry on the floor.
4. AGEC 331 has helped me significantly to be a better salesperson. I have learned the key concepts of selling. The most important concept of selling is to build rapport with the customer.
5. I have not received any rewards or scholarships.
6. Some of my skills include good communication skills and time management. I have developed these skills through my current internship. While working closely with my manager, I have learned to plan my days out so I can get all my tasks finished without rushing through any tasks. I only enjoy working with teams. I feel that by working as a team, more things can be accomplished with much less stress.
7. I can speak Spanish, and I can sign American Sign Language. I am familiar with working in groups in class, work, and in sports. I understand the importance and efficiency that working in groups brings. Working in groups allows everyone to spilt work evenly which results in a productive team.
8. I can use all Microsoft programs which include Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and, Word
9. I am familiar with equipment used in testing diamonds and gold through my internship at Finlay Fine Jewelry.
