Job Ad Analysis
This job ad is for Fresenius Medical Care working as a patient care technician. I want to respond to this ad because I think this job would provide me with the kind of experience that will help me as I pursue my career goals. It would give me time face to face with patients and help me learn about the medical field. Also, I have already completed most of the requirements and those that I have not completed should not pose any problems for me. I have my high school degree, I am currently studying physical sciences, I have CPR Certification, I am able to lift patients and equipment, I could be on a flexible schedule and able to help out when needed, I can read and write English fluently, I have basic math skills. Although I do not have any working experience with patients in a hospital, I do have hospital experience and I would be able to pass exams successfully. I also chose this position because I will also gain experience dealing with documentation of medical records and charts and learn both how to read and create them.
I feel that I am qualified for a position like this one because I am able to meet all the requirements listed. As I wrote on my skills inventory part of the employment project, I work well with people both in teams and in dealing with customers, or patients in this case. I am a quick learner, who does not need to be told more than once how to complete a task the right way. This position offers me the opportunity to show my care for others and allow me to actually treat patients in life and death situations. I have good communication skills that would help me work with others to treat the patient in times of need like these. My ability to lead a group could also come into play here as well. Because of these reasons, I feel that I am qualified for this position.
