Summer 2006- I worked for Full Circle Management, a small sales consulting firm on Michigan Ave. in Chicago. I learned a great deal about the ins and outs of making the sales department of a company work, since that is what we did. We would revamp our client's failing sales programs and train their salespeople so that they had the skills needed to succeed at their profession.
Summer 2007- I am interning at Ingersoll Rand, in the security technologies division. I was assigned a new product, which is a lock especially for college residence hall doors. It has a key pad and a card swipe for added security. I visit different college campuses and present my product to the residence hall director at each school.
EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
4.
My advanced sales courses have taught me the most valuable skills. I learned to be comfortable talking in front of large groups of people, as well as to influential people that might have intimidated me in the past. The projects I participate in these classes are always done in groups, and this has taught me to relate to others. I have learned to be both a leader and a follower through my coursework.
