4. I have taken CS235, a computer course on Microsoft Office. The skills learned in this class allow me to efficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. My introductory Accounting course, Management 200, gives me valuable knowledge about accounting.
5. I have received the Academic Success Scholarship from Purdue University for having a good academic record. I have also received a Dean’s Scholarship from Purdue. Both require me to maintain a 3.5 overall grade point average. I have met the requirements to keep both.
In addition to scholarships from Purdue, I have earned a scholarship from the Traffic Club of Chicago. The scholarships were awarded based on academic success and involvement.
Skills:
6. I am very proficient at using the computer. I have great word processing skills as well as extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office. I am also good at communicating with people, even those who I have never met.
7. I can speak some Spanish. I am also good at working with people of all ages. I have worked with young children through coaching and with older people through my current job at Potbelly’s.
8. I know how to use all aspects of Microsoft Office. I also know many elements of HTML coding.
