2. I volunteered at the YMCA pancake days in Evansville, IN by helping set up and clean up. Also, I have volunteered in soup kitchens and food pantries throughout high school.
3. My current employment is an internship. I gave my resume at the Agriculture Career Fair and I interviewed and got it. It has been more than I could have expected. I am given lots of responsibilities and given a very diverse project assignment. One day I could be driving to Indianapolis to pick up someone from the air port and the next day I could be assisting a Scientist with research that could change agricultural practices for the country. I have learned so much already and grown from this experience exponentially.

Education Experience
4. For my education classes, I have been asked to create lesson plans and online assignments. This has been very valuable as I was able to apply those lessons in a real classroom setting and learn from my mistakes. Those were valuable lessons that I will not forget. One course in particular that I have never forgotten was my multiculturalism class concerning multiculturalism education in schools. This class taught me to be sensitive to different races and religions and really opened my eyes to various problems of society. As for my environmental degree, my intro class to environmental science and my environmental political science class have given me the most practical knowledge. In my intro class I was introduced to different environmental issues and legislations of all parts of the world. Then as a part of my political science class I was able to understand and grasp the difficulty in deciding environmental legislation.
