Skills inventory

1) International business assistant and then promoted to assistant manager in a company called Hermaprove S.A. located in Guayaquil – Ecuador. In my first position my responsibility was to follow every step in the import process. Opening the documents with the customs, shipping company, and others. After arrival, continue with the process until the product was in our warehouse and ending my responsibility with a report that showed all the costs the product went through. In the second position, I looked for any mistakes in the procedures in every department. 2004-2006 2) I worked in Rotaract by Rotary International, creating a library in a low-resource elementary school (2005). This included finding the book, the shelves, organizing all of it and setting it up. Additionally I worked with a Catholic movement called Movimiento de Vida Cristiana (MVC), helping them organize the biggest Catholic congress in my city (2002). I worked approximately 3 months in Rotaract and 5 months in MVC. 3) I’ve never had an internship. 4) Last semester I took organizational behavior human resources 230. It was a seminary on teamwork and it taught me valuable things when working with other people and learning some skills for a good leader. 5) I can’t remember of any important award I’ve gained. 6) I know I can give a lot to a company because I am very good at decision making, global thinking and I am very good dealing with people. The last one might not be that important for the job I’m looking, but in finance it is very important to follow the steps for good decision-making and see thing in a global perspective based on the detail rather than focusing in little things. And I see things that way. 7) I love to work in very diversified groups, and I can deal with any type of groups and cultures. I lived with an Asian last semester, lived in Europe for three months, born and lived in Latin America my entire life, studying in the United States and had a Lebanese boyfriend for two years. I speak fluidly Spanish and English languages and understand French and German. 8) I have basic skills with computers; I used Microsoft and know I have a Macintosh. I know all the programs in Office for Mac and PC, how to configure networks in both of them and also, and a company software called SAP. 9) I can’t think of any.
