2. I have not volunteered with a nonprofit organization.

3. Yes, I actually started the internship with a company called Webster Veterinary Supply. They are in the pharmaceutical sales industry, but on the animal side. I was an outside sales rep for the northern part of Indiana. I took orders, helped assemble equipment, and helped with any issues a veterinarian may have had. I also worked in the warehouse for a week. There, I put together orders and saw how the back end of the operation worked. I was also sent out to Kanas City, MO for a week to work inside sales. I got a great taste of what this industry is all about.

Educational Experience
4.
I have taken many courses that have taught me invaluable lessons. The most recent and valuable course would be CSR 309, which is Leadership. That class was the best class I have taken at Purdue thus far. The way Dr.Feinberg taught the class was in a way that allowed us to be in control of our every choice. He forced us to take responsibility to an entire new level. Another class I realy enjoyed and benefitted from was OLS 386, which is Change Management. We learned what to look for and how to react when a company introduces a new change throughout. All of the OLS classes teach the soft skills necessary to be successful in the business world. I have learned more from my OLS minor than any other class at Purdue (besides Leadership).

5. I did not receive any scholarships or awards.

Skills
6.
One of my best qualities is my communication skills. I have always been one to make sure everyone knows what is going on. I actually really enjoy talking on the phone, whether it be business or socially related. On kind of a different topic, I have done extremely well with my diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. I help my diabetic friends with their health issues and this is why I want to go into that type of medical industry. I want to be either a diabetic health consultant, or be in sales of diabetic related supplies. I would even enjoy being an insulin pump specialist. I use all of these things on a daily basis, so why not help others succeed with this condition? I am also a very fast learner. I am a visual learner, but once I see something done and do it myself, I have learned the task.

7. I get along with all sorts of people, which is why I think I would do very well in sales. I can relate to many people or understand things very easily. I am always tryting to meet new people and am told that I am a very personable person. I took Spanish in high school. I do remember many terms and grammar usage, but my dialogues consist of only the most simple texts.

8. I took CS 235, but besides the microsoft office package, I would not be your typical IT person.

9. I do have experience with many different kinds of equipment. Diabetic, stereo( I install home and car equipment all the time). When I worked at Sears Hardware, I was always working with different kinds of tools, just so I could learn how to use them and show customers how to use them correctly. Plus, like I said earlier I learn things very quickly, so I can learn to understand how things work effectively.
