I am interested in this position because it offers a wide range of experience in the PR field which becomes essential when you consider how vast the field is. Also important is the section on entry level placement after graduation. I would assume that an entry level position is slightly easier to transition into from a college enviornment when you have already had time to adjust to the company as an intern. If you intern at one firm and then are hired by another, you have to learn about the second company and the internal working just as you did with the first company but without the leniency of being an intern.

I am qualified for this internship because of my experiences in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) where I have been both a general member and a member of Executive Board. As the PR Director I had similar responsibilities to what I would be doing as an intern but without the budget or support of a firm.
