Resume Extravaganza
After reading through all the resumes in this activity, I chose the resumes on page 5, 8, 9, 26, and 32. All the resumes I chose that an appealing layout to me, which made me want to read them more than others and actually is part of the reason that I chose them. However, my main way of evaluating them was this. I read the objective and then looked through their resume for experience doing whatever it was they said they wanted to do or could do in the objective. If I saw experience, I read through the information more thoroughly. If I did not see any relevant experience, I discarded it and moved onto the next resume. I think reviewing these resumes will help me improve my own resume, because it put me in the situation to be the one critiquing them instead of the one writing them. It was an experience I had never had before and I hope that it helps me better evaluate my own resume in the future. I think that I have a nice format compared to some of these which helps me, but I may want to consider adding more detail to my experiences. One of the resumes that I noticed was chosen a lot was 9. I think this resume is both visually appealing and extremely informative. This makes the perfect combination for a resume, in my opinion.
