Resume Extravaganza
After quickly reading through the resumes, I have chosen numbers 5, 9, 20, 22, and 32. I really liked how these resumes were easy to read. They had a good layout and were very eye appealing. These resumes were well written and had good objectives. Their work experience often correlated with their objectives. As a group, they were involved and good students.
This activity really helped me realize why employers go through resumes so quickly; it took long enough to sort through less than 40. The importance of a good layout also became apparent. I went through all of them and if a good format was not present I really didn’t read much further. I did not want to have to look for information. This exercise will really help me refine my resume into a better format.
