I chose the article “Runway debacle and JetBlue stock goes ... up?” located on msnbc.com.
This can be found at: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17175598/
This article caught my eye right away because it sounds impossible. It first gives a brief overview of the situation and explains how upset the passengers of the delayed flights were. It then explains that an analyst upgraded the stock of JetBlue to “buy” right after this debacle happened. He said, this happened for a simple reason, “Traders weren’t on the planes.” The traders saw how much publicity this company had, and knew if the company played their cards right, they could rebound from this and grow as a company. This publicity showed how cheap the prices of the flights were and later would show how the company made a customer bill of rights which would attract more customers.
This article gives a good example of how a company can address its customers correctly, allowing them to rebound as a company.
