This week was only the preliminary stages of the project. I fortunately have an excellent group. We all introduced ourselves via e-mail and are trying to figure out exactly how the team is going to work together to finish this project.
I suggested a few things like all of us brainstorming for ideas on what both the brochures should look like. Then I suggested that 2 people can work on one brochure and the other 2 can work on the second brochure. By using the wiki page we can all comment and give suggestions on each others work and make sure that both brochures are being done at the same time. Using the wiki page in a scenario like can be extremely useful because I am on a different time-zone and coordinating with everyone via IM will not work.
Also since all of us have different strengths, being in teams helps because the each of our strengths and weakness will become evident. We can then switch teams to refine our work.
I am excited to see how this project turns out!
