Individual Blog week 5
I can tell from what has been going on this week that this is going to be quite an experience. It's really obvious that my group will have a lot of difficulties since 2 of my group members are working full time and the other two are in South America. We have been trying all week to communicate in an effective way but it’s been hard. For the Gantt chart that we have to submit today, it has been really hard to do together, but I am sure that organization will improve after this. This weekend I hope to do research on the organization and then, we will be ready to share our ideas and work on them on Monday.
What the Gantt model showed me is that we don’t have a lot of time and if we don’t communicate in an effective way then we will lose time we don’t really have. The really good advantage we have in the group though is Libby. She works for a veterinary clinic and that will give us a special knowledge in the field.
I am sure next week will be very hard since our first draft is due and we have to start during the weekend. I will propose today to find another way of communication that could be instant messaging which for me would be msn messenger.
