This week was much more active than week number 5. Since we had to send our first draft I began working on it on Monday. My support for the group was the design and some of the information needed for the pet care brochure. In those tasks I worked very close to Libby who revised and added most of the information. The design started as a template in word, which I changed and adapted to the information we wanted to add.
Most of the ideas I had at the beginning had to be changed since most of them relied on images I couldn’t find. I must admit that there is a limited amount of images that aren’t copyrighted. The first brochure I created was a trifold but when I did the research on the subjects they need to include, I found that it was too small to include so much information. For this reason, I designed another but it was more like a pamphlet and since that is not what the organization wants, Libby decided it would be easier to summarize the information.
I have been trying to adapt to everyone’s schedule since I am the only person that has time during the day. Since all of the members of my group are working nights are the best moment to keep in touch. We have worked very well together and hopefully we will continue to do so through the rest of the project.
