This week our group had to do a lot of work in putting together our first draft for our brochure. I feel that we were pretty successful on our first draft but we also have room to improve it and make it more effective. The first thing that I did for the week was do a little more research for information that we could include on our brochure. I used some of the websites that were listed under the project to find out as much as I could about the Christmas party and CFRC. I then met with some of my group members online and we discussed some of the things that needed to be done with our group and how we were going to go about putting the brochure together. I volunteered to do part of the text and I split the work up with one of the other group members. I communicated with them through the wiki page, AIM, and email. I then used my research and some other group members' research to put my part of the brochure together. I focused on making sure that the text had variety and conciseness, but also got across the point that we wanted our readers to get. I then posted my part of the brochure on the wiki page and sent an email with the attached text. I kept talking to group members through the wiki page and checked out their design and the other parts that had been put together. We turned in our first draft and now are starting to discuss the changes that need to be made for our second draft.
