Well this week our group came though like usual. Melissa sent out an email asking when the best time to meet would be, and also if we could meet on AIM again. The AIM situation seems to still be the best way to communicate as a group. We finally decided to meet at 830pm on Monday evening. Submit Blog entry | English 420Y - Business Writing Onlinetil 9, but I made it there about 915. In earlier trials, we tried splitting up the work into groups, but it was so much easier and clearer as to what needed to be done if we were all in the same chat room.
Once we were all finally together things really started to get started. Im not sure what it was, but we had a ton of ideas almost instantly. We really turned the brochure around, not that much needed to be done, but we made great progress. As a group we decided that parts of the brochure were too wordy. Melissa and I worked on one of the paragraphs that needed to be rephrased. The other melissa worked on some of the volunteer stuff to make it a little easier on the eye. Marius figured out how to make the check boxes work out when we turned it into a pdf file. We have still been working great as a group with no issues and the brochure was turned in with no problems.
