This week we decided to meet on Monday to start working on the second draft. Since I did not have the chance to give lots of input for our first draft in the previous week, I decided on Sunday to start the second draft revision by myself. I changed the specific parts mentioned in the feedback you gave us as well as summarize most of the text since I felt we had written too much. I did not summarize it completely since I did not want to decide by myself what parts to eliminate out of the brochure. That night we met and decided that we needed to summarize most of the text since we gave too much detail and this could cause the audience to get bored. We decided to do the assembly line again since this worked out really effective the last time, and divided up the work. After some time and after many input from all of our group members we came up with the second draft of the brochure we were really proud of since we did achieve improvement. We were then satisfied with the brochure and ended up the online meeting we had through AIM. The next day I go online and found out that we had a problem with the brochure; when changing the brochure to .pdf format the check box symbol changed to a different one. Melissa sent out an email saying that you recommended us to change the word document into a .jpg file, and I spent a lot of time finding out how to do this. After a while I gave up trying to figure out how to do it, I played around with the check boxes in the word document until I found the solution. After lots of trial and error, I realized that by changing the font from symbol to arial did the trick. I then changed the document to .pdf format and finally turned in our second draft that was due on tuesday. I look forward to our final draft since I feel we are doing a good job on this assignment.
