This week my group and I worked very productively on our second draft of our brochure. Monday night we met on AIM to discuss the revisions that needed to be made. Marius had prepared ahead of time with the first start of revisions which was a great asset to assisting us in the completion of the second draft. We each had a part of revising the brochure, in particular our individual sections that we constructed for the first brochure. The major change made on our brochure was in the volunteer opportunity section, which consisted of a summarizing the tasks/responsibilities. Overall, we summarized a few sections of the brochure, reconfigure pictures, revised the wording in a couple of the paragraphs, and changed font size. After each us revised our sections, I converted the documents to pdf format to submit the final product. We were the confronted with a problem with our check boxes in pdf format. When the microsoft document converted into pdf format, the boxes became distorted. With several emails back and forth my groups members and the professor, Marius finally figured out how to fix it and submitted our second draft. The collaborative effort in designing and wording the document was very rewarding. We were very happy with the result of this brochure and worked very diligently to accomplish to get to our present state. As a group, we are pleased with how the project has gone and hoping that can we don't encounter any more problems before our final draft.
