This beginning of this past week we spent a good deal of time looking at or original draft and getting it redone and ready to submit for a second time. Rachel did a wonderful job re-designing the brochure and I was really impressed with the way she managed to take the information in our original draft and make it neater and more concise. We had spent a while taking in comments on our draft and discussing changes through email before she sent us out the version she had been working on. We then went through it and made our own comments and made small changes. We all liked the new design so most of the changes were small ones, such as resizing objects and making sure lines overlapped properly. After we all commented a bit on it, we sent out a copy again so we could all take another look. We all decided we liked it, and I converted it to .pdf format and submitted it. The next day we received peer feedback from the group in the other section and began thinking about the comments we received. Many people thought our colors were too bright so I’m working on toning them down for the final draft, but still keeping the theme. We are also working on incorporating the comments from CFRC into our brochure for the final draft, as their comments are very important to us.
