My name is Cody Chambers and I am a junior in CGT. Interests include cars, motorcycles, and enjoying the sprawling landscape ahead of me. I don't really know what I intend to get out of this class except a keener understanding of multimedia writing...whatever that is. Honestly, my instructor recommended this class so now I'm here.

What's your favorite movie?

1. My name is David and I'm a senior this year in CGT. I'm focusing on IMD and plan do continue my studies in HCI at DePaul, in downtown Chicago.

2. I would like to learn more about how to publish podcasts to the web and learn how to better integrate them into websites. It seems as if podcasts are a popular form of sharing information, especially since the mobile media device market is very high. I enrolled in this class because several of my friends have taken it in years past and have strongly recommended anyone interested in the web to enroll.

1.) Hmm, I suppose the best thing I can say about myself is that I'm your atypical college student very quickly nearing his graduation should all go well this one last final semester. I like video games, biking, swimming, and photography. Something like that. Dream job is something akin to "video game reviewer" though I could be a novelist if I actually got off my ass and did some writing. Problem is, being an avid gamer sorta causes your free time to go out of whack.

2.) I'd hope to be able to learn about anything even slightly useful for my future field in (future field here). I've had some successes with past courses like this, and hey, what's more wood for a bonfire? And I suppose there's a point to be made about the credit hours and whatnot, but those aren't important, oh no.

3.) Whatever possessed you to take up teaching here?

Hi. I'm Adria. I am on my fifth year at Purdue. All of my free time goes into my resident assistant position at Hilltop Apartments. This year I am responsible for upperclassmen which already has proven to be much more of a challenge than I had originally expected. I really enjoy sports especially soccer. I am looking forward to Purdue Football and can't wait to graduate in the spring!

I really hope to get a different perspective on multimedia content and gain some more skills associated. I used to work for a small screen printing company and loved every minute. I have already taken a technical business writing class, but I was interested in this classes content so I signed up.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

My name is Alex Lewis and I am from Mahomet, IL. My main interests are baseball, skydiving, and beaches. My intention is to get an A or B out of this class. I wanted to take this class over a business writing class because I find technical writing to be much more interesting to read and write than any other type of writing. What is your favorite TV show?

Hi, my name is Scott Renick and I am a junior in computer graphics technology. My interests include live entertainment production (graphics and multimedia integration to be specific), listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and orientation programs at Purdue University. After finishing this course I hope to have a better grasp on the importance of understanding an audience and marketing a multimedia piece towards that audience. I enrolled in this course because of my interest in multimedia production as a future career, and hope to expand my understanding of multimedia outside of the graphic design and layout realm.

At this point, I'm curious why you chose the Venture Bros. as your icon. Any other favorite adult swim shows?

My name is Tyler Penrod. I'm a CGT major with a minor in A&D and CS. Interests include computers (obviously), comics, games, politics, animation, SIGGRAPH (Special Interest Group for Graphics) and Kendo (Japanese Fencing). I also enjoy using parenthesis.

I don't know if I want to put any expectations on this class. I mean the class already has at least 16 other expectations being put on it, and I don't want to stress it out. But if I had to, I suppose I just want it to be fun, engaging, and something I enjoy rather than simply sit through and get my A (or A- thanks to Purdue's stupid grading changes). I took an English class freshmen year, and thoroughly enjoyed it because it was much more like what this class seems to be rather than your typical English course. I also like blogging, the internet, and filling up the series of tubes with my random thoughts and ideas.

My question is: If you had to be a minion for the Monarch, which minion number would you be, and why?

I'm an atmospheric science major. I'm interested in extreme weather and how it is changing with our climate. I do gymnastics on the purdue club gymnastics team and I have a ferret. My expectations for this class are for it to help me in my career. I enrolled in this class instead of a different writing class because my adviser told me this class would help me understand programs similar to the programs I'll use in my EAS classes.

I am Angela Cooper, and I am a math education major. I enjoy playing music in the band and being outdoors. I also enjoy working with computers and solving problems.

I would like to become more efficient with the multimedia technology so that I can use this technology in my classroom. I choose to enroll in this class to help me learn more ways of communicating by using multimedia instead of just ordinary writing.

Hi there! My name is Kevin Parkerson. I could begin with a cliched joke about liking teddy bears, long walks on the beach and whatnot, but today I'll spare everyone that comment. I'm 21, I'm interested in listening to/playing music, running long distances, and hanging out with my co-op brothers. To be honest, I really don't know what to expect from this class, as the descriptions given thus far have been quite vague. Once I've gotten through a few of the assignments I'll have an opinion. I am psyched to be taking a multimedia based writing class rather than one that focuses on slaving over enormous term papers. That was what pushed me to enroll in the class, and I'm hoping my decision pays off so I can learn some cool stuff. As for asking you a question... how did you make this website look so awesome, and could you possibly give me tips on how to create one this amazing for an online portfolio?

Hey everyone!! My name is Stephanie Lewis. I am a junior majoring in computer graphics. (Multimedia and animation) I like to play bball and soccer whenever I get the chance. I love to go out on the lake as well.

My expectations for the class....hmm?? Hopefully just learn more about multimedia writing, because i'm not exactly sure what that is!! Nothing really caused me to enroll in this class, my advisor suggested it and I went for it.
