I thought the first few Capital One commercials were pretty funny with using the Vikings. I could not find a whole lot of the ones that were good before they went downhill, but the one I provided was a pretty good example.

Once I read the Got Milk ads, I tried to think about other successful advertising campaigns. Although it is hard to relate these promotional videos to our current project, they do make a strong point. In this advertisement, 7 up is clearly attempting to target the younger crowd. They introduce a young and upcoming actor/comedian to pretty much insult the general public.
When searching for "CD Promotion" on Google I kept getting CD Promotional Videos that appear on Youtube. Yes, they are not the bset stuff. I have attached some links below (I tried to find the cheesiest ones possible, and don't listen to it all the way through):

I decided to write my blog about UPS' new "Whiteboard" commercials. I was thinking about what to write about when one of these popped up on the TV. I've always found them interesting, so I followed the link to http://whiteboard.ups.com/ and was surprised by how many commercials they have out (15 total, I've probably seen 2-3). They're fairly new however, and I don't watch much TV, so that probably has something to do with it.
Most bands now of days, have their own website to promote themselves as well as their music. For an example I’ll be using Disturbed’s official website (www.disturbed1.com). The first thing that we see when we enter this site is a quick one page ad showing a new album that they will be releasing in May of this year. They want their fans to know that they are coming out with a new album and therefore make it the first thing viewers will see on their site. Once we enter their site we are taken to the news page.
