Reading Response Week #1
While scanning and reading the required material, I find this book to be very useful in general and not only in the business world. Much of the material in the book, I have already gone over in other english courses, but this particular book goes into much more detail. I believe the substance of this course will be based around the business writing world. Much of the material we cover will help us to write better as whole.
While covering this material, I am going to make sure to take in as much information as I can. I know that in my future I will need to know how to write in the business world, especially if I choose to work at a Non-Profit. I hope to become more on a business level while writing, and to learn to get to the point while writing. I feel that this book is a good choice for this course.

I would agree that this book seems very useful. It not only has information on professional and business writing, but also for just writing in general. The examples in the book seem very helpful and it seems to have a lot of information on using technology, which will really come in hand for this online class. I like how it has sections to show how to conduct research because that always seems like something that I have trouble with. This book also has sections on citing resources, which seem to be a problem for many students when writing. I am looking forward to using this book because it seems like it has valuable resources.
