Siemens USA Accounting/Auditing Internship
This is a position for an internship with Siemens USA. The internship would involve the areas of accounting and auditing. The position includes activities such as preparing reports, conducting research, making charts, and submitting proposals. Interns are closely supervised to ensure quality work. During this internship, participants also get the opportunity to help design and work on projects. Interns are not limited to the above activities; the experience can vary from intern to intern.
I chose this position because it involves experience with my major. I would like to work in accounting or a related field after graduation. Siemens is a well known company that could bring many opportunities. The internship would allow me to get the feel of an accounting job. This could prove very helpful since I am in the early stages of my academic career. I have three more years before I earn my degree, so real work experience can help me determine if I am in the right place. The internship would also provide valuable experience that can help me in the future when acquiring a full time position.
I believe that I am qualified for this position because I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree by majoring in Accounting and Management and minoring in finance. The internship asks for at least sophomore standing, which I currently have. The internship also requires at least a 3.0 GPA. With my current cumulative GPA of 3.9, I am very qualified. Siemens also would like an intern to be involved in extra-curricular activities. Besides school and a part time job, I am involved in Management Ambassadors and a sorority. The internship relies heavily on technology, and I have the required knowledge of Microsoft Office. I work well in groups and am understanding of diverse cultures, which would prove very advantageous for this position.

Accounting Internship
Wow, this sounds like a
Nice work
First off, I have a lot of respect for you. You are obviously a very dedicated person when it comes to academics. Personally, accounting and I did not get along very well. That job position sounds perfect for what you are looking for. I have heard of that company and they are highly recognized as a great company. Experience really can make people stand out in a crowd ( or a career fair). With your grades, campus involvement, and interest in accounting, you should have no problem landing what you want. Even if you are only just using this job application for this class, or if you are actually persuing a heavy interest, best of luck to you.
