Job analysis

After reading the text, I was a lot more clear on what employers actually mean tin their job ads. For example, I always thought that when the ad said experience reccomended but not required ti meant if you did nto have any experience you would nto get hired. After reading the text I found a job on career builder after much searching. It is for an entry level food technologist. I think its good to look for entry level jobs because i think they are willing to teach you as you go alongthe road. It seems like there is a lot of hands on work, which is exactly the kind of job I want. I do not want to be stuck in front of a computer all day. It seems like the job would allow me to get my feet wet in every aspect of quality assurance. Also there is a little bit of time to do my own projects which I think is very important. It also talks abotu being able to work in teams, which i have a lot in college due to my organization. I think this job is a perfect fit for me! Career Builder

I'm glad you found a job on career builder, despite the fact that I explicitly told you to try a more general job site. Oops. It just goes to show that sites like Monster and Career Builder can have great niche jobs, though it's often a crap shoot. That's why I recommend checking the larger national site, local sites, field and career specific sites, and company home pages for the broadest spectrum of jobs possible. While you shouldn't send resumes haphazardly, it is a good idea to cast as broad a net as possible in your actual job search. Talking to professors and people you know in the field is often the best bet - not all jobs are publicized, and having inside connections helps. I'm glad you found something you're interested in.

Specific job sites

I did try and look on specific job sites but all of thier position said that a minimum of 2 years experience was required. Thats why i decided to try career builder again. Do you think i should search some more on specific websites?
