Questions for Response
1. What can the writer do to make the resume better tailored to the specific job being applied for?
I think your objective is great! It’s descriptive enough and describes exactly what you are wanting and what you plan to offer! One idea would be to try and think of skills instead of sales and market abilities because those are so broad. Like communication and a marketing skill (I am not a sales major so I don’t have a good example, but I hope you understand what I am saying).
2. Is the layout and design pleasing to the eye? Make at least one suggestion for improving it.
I like your layout. I think it looks great! You could move your e-mail address to under your name. It kinda looks out of place by itself.

Under Work Experience you are supposed to put the most recent first.

13. What other observations can you make about the resume?
Your resume looks great. One thing I noticed right away was the fact that you put down when you graduated from h.s. I don’t think that is a necessary aspect since you are in college it is assumed you graduated from h.s. and more than likely were successful. Just an idea, I don’t think very many people put their h.s. information on their resume! It looks really good though and I wish you the best of luck!

7. Yes the content of your resume effectively supports your objective. In the objective you say you want to become a sales administrator and you said you learned to work in a team and to communicate better while working at your last job. Both of these are good characteristics for a sales person.
8. I think your resume is long enough and all the sections seem to have enough information in them.
9. Yes your information is sequenced in order of importance and relevance. You have your educational information and objective up near the top where most people will look first so that is good.
10. There are no bullet points but the lists are ordered in order of importance.
11. For the most part yes, maybe you don't need to list excel or word in skills because the majority of people are skilled in those programs as well.
12. Yes I would say you pass them all.
