Resume extravaganza

This assignment was fun! It actually made me sit back and I found that for myself the most important part of the resume was the objective and how the applicants experience reflected the objective. The resumes that I selected were numbers 8, 9, 17, 26, and 32. I chose these five because their objectives were very well defined and their experiences backed up their ability to live up to the objective. With several resumes I found myself asking "what can you do for me/my company?" I now realize how important it is to be very clear in your objective about what it is you can do for the company with your skills.
I look forward to using these hints for why I liked other resumes towards revising and perfecting my own. Thanks everyone for your help!

Resume Extravaganza: Response

I also thought this assignment was fun. The objective was definitely an eye opener for me.The objective proved helpful, because it told me why they were interested and what they had to offer the companies. I also agree with you that clarity is the key when writing the objective. It is also important because it is almost the first thing you see. The idea of appealing to the company, through relaying information on how you can benefit them could have made some of these resumes bette . I also think this will make everyone go back and revise their resume stronger, especially since we were able to view the others.
