The Jet Blue article that I chose depicts some of the ramifications that occurred after the Valentines Day meltdown. Three months after the meltdown, the CEO of the company was replaced by the company president. The CEO did not leave the company, but stepped down to play a more strategic role. The board and CEO agreed on this, and believe this is the best move for the company. In his new role Neeleman is trying to save the company from another 30 million dollar mistake. This article is very important to the corporate communication because it shows how much a mistake can cost a company and the consequences that could follow.
