Your press release had a lot of great information. It was very detailed and was laid out very well. It looked very professional and I really like the opening paragraph but I felt that the first paragraph needed to also start out with saying some apologizes and that would also add a lot to the press release. You have a lot of detail about the events that happened and that is really good. You also explained the customer bill of rights well and that was a good paragraph well. One other thing that you can add to your press release is in the last paragraph is some contact information a phone number and email address, for people who have questions. Other then those few changes I really like your press release!
I think that is a very effective press release. It provides a lot of information in context and at the same time, it portrays a sincere apology. The paragraph talking about measures to ensure customer satisfaction offers something valuable to the customers. I think you should also build up JetBlue’s credibility by referring to their past performance with respect to customer satisfaction. I feel that this press release lacks a little in professionalism and it would be much improved with a little work on formatting and sentence structure. Overall, I feel it’s a job well done!
