The brochure I found is for a company called CxGBS. The brochure just tells you a little about their company and what they do. I think the proximity of the pictures and the words that are describing the pictures is pretty good throughout the brochure. Each paragraph on the second page has a picture showing some of the buildings that the company has built. Everything also seems to be perfectly aligned in the brochure. Again on the second page every paragraph is aligned with the one directly on top and below it. Every picture on the brochure has a faded blue border type thing next to it to show that all the pictures relate to each other in the fact that they built all of them. There isn't much contrasting colors in the brochure. The entire font is the same blue color which looks professional but doesn't contrast at all. However each picture has some different colors in it which contrast a little so the whole thing doesn't look exactly the same. Overall I think the brochure does a good job of telling you a lot of information about the company and what they do. They use good proximity, alignment and decent contrast. I will probably look at the outline of the brochure and see where they have writing in relation to the pictures and just the overall layout of the brochure. I will probably look at other brochures as well to see how they are designed just to get a good idea of how brochures are supposed to look. I think this was a good one for me to look at and will help me a lot in designing mine for the project.

Brochure analysis
This is a good brochure that shows some good elements of graphic design that will be useful in our project. There is good repetition with the different projects are with the headers of each portion of the brochure. The left alignment of the bullets and subsections is good for easy reading. The contrast between the green color and white text is good for the first page. The fonts also follow the book's suggestion of using serif and sanserif fonts for the headings and paragraphs below those headings. This makes for easy reading. Repetition is also seen with the logo of the company that is used in a good amount without being overwhelming. This will be good along with the many other examples given from others to help you design a good brochure.

This brochure definitley catches my eye. The differences in the color and size of the font makes put an emphasis on the images. Although it is rather spread out, I still find it to be very effective. The word solutions running vertically also plays a critical role on the first page. It adds some contrast to the words so that all of the context does not all look the same. As for the second page the image in the background really stood out to me. I think we should incorporate something like that on our project. Beside each heading is a picture of something that is related to the section. It is imperative that customers have a visual aid to help them comprehend what they are reading about. Personally, I like to look at things while I read and by utilizing this it would help bring everything together.

This is a really good brochure. The brochure is concise and effective. It tells you exactly what the company does, gives contact information and has just the right use of pictures. The alignment of the text makes the brochure look really organized. It is not overwhelmed with text and pictures make it catchy. I especially like the water mark used on page 2 and the word solutions on the side.
It uses good contrasting colors which makes it more appealing to the eye!
All in all I think its really well done professional brochure

I agree when you say that everything is perfectly aligned in this brochure. It follows a similar pattern and design throughout which does not give the reader difficulty when following the brochure. What also keeps things simple is that it is has the same color and tone throughout the brochure, which gives it uniqueness. From the terms we had to read from the Thomson Handbook, this brochure uses repetition throughout its content since it displays images on the top and then it is followed by text. The text is also repeated since they are paragprahs with similiar headings and almost similar length. The backround image is also nicely placed since it constrasts the text and the image represents what the brochure is advertising. I think this is a good brochure to follow for our upcoming Service Project.
