Both of our brochures are easy to read and follow. Instead of providing information in long complicated sentences, we included bullet points and boxes to divide each point to improve the readability of readers.
Speak the Language: +
We avoid using professional or technical language that can bring readers misunderstanding. Our brochure’s language is simple and clear that readers can easily understand the contents.
Lead with Benefits: +
We didn’t strongly mentioned about what benefits the readers can get from participate helping the organization. The tone gives an idea of how valuable it is to spend time for volunteering and properly caring for pet. But I think we can put more direct and strong words about what kind of benefits readers can get from.
Have a Single Message: +
We did great job having a single message for both brochures. The purpose of our general information brochure was to provide enough information about the Clinton County Humane Society and encourage readers to volunteer and donate for the organization. The caring for your pet brochure focuses about how to care for your pet.
Focus on a Product or Service: +
Our brochures focuses on single subject not giving multiple choices making the readers get confused. The general information brochure talks about what the organization do so that readers have better understanding of the organization and able to participate helping it. The caring for your pet brochure focuses on basic and useful knowledge of taking care for pet properly.
Make an Action Call: +

Overall our brochures follow well all the criteria I discussed above. Still we should definitely spend more time revising it to strongly appeal to audience.

Overall, I think our group did a great job with the brochure. But as you mentioned above, we could put more direct and strong words pertaining to benefits. Though it is understood, I feel the need that we should mentioned, so that the audience reads it for sure. I agree with your views on professionalism. As you said, we did use the pictures closely related to the text. We didn’t have any extra information. Overall, the brochure looked very neat. If the brochure is neat, then it appeals to the audience also in a pleasant manner. No one would like to read a shabby brochure. We didn’t even confuse the reader in terms of message or focus, as you mentioned above. We did a good job, and with a few changes, our final project will look excellent.

I agree with what you have said. Both brochures are appealing to the reader’s emotions. We utilize actual pictures and coordinating colors to help our brochures look professional. We have a lot of useful information but use pictures and bullets to help make the text easier to read. I think we have done a good job with language. We could improve a little by making sure we use simple language and avoid overly technical words. We do a great job at sending a single message. The general brochure is all about the Clinton County Humane Society and how to help. All the sections in the other brochure relate to how to care for a pet. I agree that we meet the criteria. I also think it is a great idea to continue revising to make our brochure even stronger.

I also agree that we did a great job with the brochures. We were able to produce that grabs the attention of the readers and keeps their attention. I agree that we were able to do this by using a single message and displaying actual pictures. This helps, because the reader does not get confused as to what they are supposed to get out of the brochure and the actual pictures help ties it all together. Also as you mentioned, we did not go into great detail about the benefits of the humane society. Instead we told the many different ways that one could help out. Maybe in our revision, we could add something short about the benefits the humane society has.
