The job I chose for my employment project is with Lincoln Educational Services for an Outside Sales Admissions Representative. For the job, I would be scheduling presentations with High School Counselors and Teachers to present the educational services that this company offers so that they will, in turn, generate the interest of students. Then the students will enlist the help of the company and that is how they make a profit.

Name: Al's Diner. Location: Orland Park, IL. Position: Server. Supervisor: Tim Giglio. Dates: March 2001-January 2004. Requirements: Greet customers, take orders at the tables, make change, serve food, make different food items, customer service.

Let me begin my reading response blog by saying: I expect this course to include all of the basics a college-level professional writing course would. I assume that we will write a resume and cover letter, and learn the basic computer skills necessary to format these documents to standard, as pointed out on pages 229-231 of The Thomson Handbook.
