English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

This week in general has been a very busy one for me, both for this class and in work. Besides the normal workload of reading the assigned readings and writing our responses, there was also a lot that my group had to do for this week.

We did not really communicate about the thumbnails at all until Wednesday, the day that they were due. I had to clear up a little confusion about them, but afterwards I think everything was made clear. I made my design Wednesday night and submitted it. Thursday I got online to look at my teammates designs and was surprised to see that only one other member in my group had made one. I ended up critiquing his design and giving him feedback earlier today. I wish that my other members would have made thumbnails so we could have critiqued each other, but oh well.

I started all of my research for this week on Monday night. My research was really not that hard to find because all I had to do was find information about the hardware and the phone’s specifications. I got all of my information from the websites of the actual companies that produce the phones, so all of my information should be very accurate. A lot of my research is pretty much the same, but it varies a lot from phone to phone.

Overall this week I got a lot done and made a lot of progress for our white paper project.
