This past week was spent cleaning up our rough draft and tying loose ends together. The week started with an online chat Monday evening where the group discussed exactly how we were going to progress through the week and make sure we had our final draft completely finished by Friday morning. I offered to lend my hand to the editing process, as well as take responsibility for an overall conclusion section as well a comparative advantages/ disadvantages matrix to briefly summarize the key points presented in our white paper. While editing the white paper, I corrected a handful of spelling and grammatical errors. I also fixed an alignment issue with the title bars and page borders. I also redid the cover page by removing the border, taking out the green bar at the top, and adding a visually appealing underline to the title. I did this to set the cover page apart from the rest of the document. It originally did not contrast enough and seemed like it was its own incomplete section. On Thursday, I received feedback from the group about the comparative table, and followed their advice to change a couple “disadvantages”. I also got the citation information together for the sources that I used. All in all this week was very productive, and I feel I played a big part in getting our paper ready to submit.
