Jason Flittner – Individual Activity Report
This week Group 1 used our free Monday and Wednesday evenings to meet and work on our white paper. We decided to split the sections of the white paper and that each of us would write roughly 400 words in order to complete the needed size of the whitepaper as a whole. I was tasked with writing the SharePoint dedicated section, and the others were to write about the other competing technologies, which Justin completing our intro. I also finished up the white paper with a quick conclusion.
My section went well while I was writing it, as I am fairly familiar with SharePoint and its features it has to offer. I did have the challenge of locating some non-biased information, because most of the information about SharePoint is only available on the Microsoft website. I was able to locate many technical details and some features that I actually didn’t know SharePoint could accomplish. Writing this section went smoothly and I believe it will fit well into the whitepaper as a whole.
I am unfortunately a little bit concerned about some miscommunication among the group and think that we may need to meet up more often to keep everyone on the same page regarding the whitepaper.
