English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

The final week of this project began with reviewing the instructor’s feedback. I spent some time reading over what Nathaniel had to say and then looked over our white paper. When we turned in the document, we knew we still had a lot of work to do and the feedback we received added a few more items to the list.

Early in the week, I spent some time trying to put a front page together that incorporated the three company/platform logos. I did a little more research on my portion of the paper and put together a list of sources. I looked for ways to incorporate more visuals into the section. I spent a little bit of time talking to Justin about halfway through the week discussing the main points that each of us had to cover in our sections, since this was a problem in our rough draft. We worked towards solidifying a format for the paper.
Thursday and Friday were spent fixing up my section and working with the rest of the group on putting our paper together. I helped write a executive summary and created a few cover pages to choose from. After we had put together the paper, I spent some time proofreading and looking for problems in the paper. I spent a great deal of time doing this actually. Finding problems, having Justin fix them, and then looking over the paper again.

Overall, I think our paper made a big improvement from the rough draft to the final version. We got our final draft submitted Friday night, and now all that’s left is our evaluations.
