Research Blog 3: G1

My third and final research blog is going to be over the G1’s hardware and specifications. I got all of my research and information from the company who actually makes the phone, HTC, itself at their website http://www.htc.com/www/product/g1/specification.html.

This website gave very good information about the G1’s physical descriptions. It goes through information like the phone’s size and weight, display, keyboard, device control, etc. This site also includes a picture that will be used together with its physical information so that the reader can find this information the easiest. I think that having the phone’s physical features next to a picture of it will let the reader comprehend it better by allowing them to read it first and then actually look at the phone itself, or visa versa.

This website also has the most information about the phone’s hardware and other specifications. It includes information about the phone’s processor, operating system, memory, GPS, camera, audio, battery type and battery length, and several other special features. Once again, these items are so important because often times they are the ones that are the most important to the actual buyers and users of the phone.

After seeing that my part of the research is going to cover much of the same topics, it is apparent to me that I will have to try not to be redundant and that I will have to convey this information as easily as possible so the reader does not simply skim over it.

Once again, this website was very much like the last two ones I used, but after going through this third and last research blog, it is very apparent to me that all three of these phones are very different. It is going to be hard for the reader to choose which phone to purchase, but the information that I provide will hopefully make their decision a little easier for them.
