In my second research blog I will be summarizing the information that I have found from http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/web/tested-google-chrome-vs-ie8-v... for my white paper project. The information from this website has information from Tech Radar, which is a news source website that discusses emerging technology in all different categories.
TechRadar's article consists of information on internet browsers Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. The website conducted testes of the three internet browsers on five different categories usability, expandability, performance, protection/security and a “final verdict” overall best performance picked by the author. Even though we aren’t including Chrome in our white paper project, it’s still a valuable benchmark in terms of testing among the other two that will be featured in our white paper. The data results from the five tests provided to be useful in the information needed for our white paper project. In performance it gives great results of how fast each browser preformed in each test. The test results on the speed of each browser are useful for our white paper to allow the customer to make informed decision. The website also states the advantages and disadvantages of each three browser in which they outperformed the others.
I think all the information from this website can be use for our white paper with all the information under the testing categories performance, protection/security, usability and expandability. The testing results can be reliable based on the number of tests conducted at different speeds with each computer. Also, I found the graphic at the top to be useful idea to use for our white paper in showing all three browsers.
