This was the site that I chose to begin my research on geothermal heating systems because I am not that familiar with geothermal heat and the different systems which produce it. This source gave me a good base of information to work from for this project. I was not aware that geothermal heat could be produced in more that one way until beginning my research, but this source made it very clear to me. This source listed the different types of geothermal heat with 4 excellent images of each system, I think it would be very nice to use the 4 images in our white paper because they perfectly explain, pictorially what each system looks like. This source is also helpful because it lists the benefits of using geothermal energy, which will be great for the Pros section of our white paper. This site also explains what types of geothermal systems work best in what areas, and which types are the least expensive. It gives what types of system is best for a single home and also what types are better for large buildings. I found this site very helpful, although I did find it to be somewhat biased because it did not include any information about the negative aspects of geothermal heat, which I would have liked to have seen it include. One last thing I liked about this source was that it gave some specifics about how much money a person can save by using geothermal heating systems versus their current systems.
