This source was a harder to find than my first two sources but was very helpful and easy to deceiver through. It had a moving image that showed the process of the geothermal heat pump which was even more helpful in order for me the understand the process, it is unfortunate that we won’t be able to have a working, moving image in our white paper. This source had a sections about how geothermal heat pumps compare to more traditional types of heating systems which is something that I will definitely use in my section of the white paper. It would be nice to create section in the white paper document that directly compares geothermal heat and its types to conventional heat systems, giving a specific percentage number. This article also discusses the durability of geothermal heating systems which must be included in our white paper in the section where we compare geothermal heat to conventional heat systems. This source also helps to promote geothermal heat by discussing rebates that people can qualify for by installing geothermal heating systems. This source was similar to my first one because it again gave an overview of geothermal heat and all of its systems, but did not go into as much detail on ground wells. This article was also helpful because it discussed how geothermal heat system should not be installed by just anyone, and how it is very important that it is done by a professional that fully understands how the loops work.
