English 421Y: Technical Writing Online

This week I spent my time researching material for my research blogs. I did not realize that three of them needed to be done so I figured I should finish all them right away so I had time to work on other aspects of this project. Since I did not know about these research blogs I thought my teammates would not know about them either. I sent an email out and it seems they did not know either. I researched three different topics that ranged from the competition of SharePoint to the various features it has to offer. I learned quite a bit and I know it will help when writing our rough draft.

The other thing I did this week was work on my thumbnail graphic. I used Google to find an appropriate one. The one I chose would show companies how it could interact with its other systems that the company possesses. Then later that day I would post comments on my group’s thumbnails. They looked very good and I was happy to see that everyone had a figure name and number with a brief description along with their picture. This next week will be a lot busier and I know I will have to give 110% if I want to succeed.
